Welcome to District 3 News March addition. The following news and announcements are for this month. We hope you will share with your club members.

MEMBER REMINDER:
Semi-annual renewals due by March 31, 2022

ImageSemi-annual Toastmasters International dues are $45.00 for April 1 through September 30 and payment must be submitted by a club officer to Toastmasters International by March 31, 2022. Club officers must enter payments through Club Central to Toastmasters International. Club dues are separate and are collected by a club officer for your club.
Why wait, renew NOW and earn a gift pack from the Incentives List:
– Clubs that have 75% of members renewed by March 10, 2022 will be eligible for a $50 gift pack.
– Clubs that have 100% of members renewed by March 17, 2022 will be eligible for a $100 gift pack.

SPEAKERS BUREAU

Join Our Open House – Wednesday, March 23

ImageAll active District 3 Toastmasters are welcome to join the meeting via Zoom and see what the Speakers Bureau is all about. The guest speaker will be Brooke Bonder, an International Award-Winning Host, TV/Stage Actor and Fortune 500 Spokesperson, Motivational Speaker and Coach. Brooke will also be presenting in-person at the District 3 Conference in May.

The Speakers Bureau meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday every month via Zoom. No fees to join. You just need to apply and audition. Attend as a guest and check us out. For more information and the Zoom link, contact Steve Feld, Speakers Bureau Chair at speakers@aztoastmasters.org.

Tucson Festival of Books, March 12-13, 2022 in Tucson

An opportunity for Tucson area clubs to promote your club and invite guests while volunteering at the District 3 Toastmasters booth on the campus of the University of Arizona. We have 2-hour slots available 9:00 am to 5:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Phoenix area clubs are welcome too, since visitors may attend virtual or hybrid meetings.
