Join fellow Toastmasters at the District 3 Toastmasters Conference and “Rise Up – Celebrate Your Summit!” at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Resort in Maricopa, Arizona.

This year’s District 3 Toastmasters Conference is all about recognizing and appreciating your accomplishments during this Toastmasters year. Harrah’s Ak-Chin Resort is the perfect place for this two-day conference. Connect with members and friends you haven’t seen in a while or have met only on Zoom. Share experiences with fellow Toastmasters and celebrate members’ achievements. Get to know this year’s District Leaders Trio better: David Hopper, District Director; Karen Hewitt, Program Quality Director; and DJ Reed, Club Growth Director.

The “Rise Up – Celebrate Your Summit!” conference will be filled with activities designed to recognize and celebrate the educational and leadership summits achieved by our members. A special celebration parade will be held for the newest Distinguished Toastmasters who have reached their DTM summit. There will be personal and professional development education sessions and a Hall of Fame recognition of your education awards.

You will have opportunities to witness two District level virtual speech contests. The District Table Topics Contest will be held Friday night. The District level International Speech Contest will be held Saturday night to determine who will represent District 3 on the road to the World Championship of Public Speaking.

Top-notch keynote presenters will be speaking in-person

Keynote #1, Friday evening, May 20th

Michael J. Holian, DTM our Region 3 International Director and past District 3 Director will give the opening keynote for conference speaking on “Why You Should Step Into Leadership (Even if you don’t really want to).”

Keynote #2, Saturday morning, May 21st

Mark Victor Hansen co-author of “Chicken Soup for the Soul” will give the keynote “Fueling Your Desire to Speak” that launches a full-day of conference.

Keynote #3, Saturday evening, May 21st


Neil Giuliano President/CEO of Greater Phoenix Leadership and former Mayor of Tempe will round out the day with a keynote presentation, “Stories of a Public Leadership Journey: How to Build a Lake in the Middle of the Desert.”

Education sessions will offer information, ideas and, inspiration

Clubs join in a conference tradition by donating a raffle basket

District 3 Toastmasters Conference BasketsJoin in the fun, and help fill the Raffle Room with baskets to raise funds to help offset the cost of the Conference. Clubs can participate by donating a raffle basket to support this fundraiser. You can also give a cash donation to the Raffle Committee, and they will make a basket for your club. Clubs with baskets should drop them off at the venue (Harrah’s Ak-Chin Resort, Maricopa, AZ) by 1 p.m. on May 20

  • VISITORS/GUESTS will experience Toastmasters in action and enjoy the personal and professional development sessions.
  • FIRST TIMERS attending this conference will be elevated with activities that are not only entertaining but will help you scale your Toastmasters knowledge. Activities may include a scavenger hunt.
  • THE WALL, “Rise Up – Celebrate Your Summit!” will display how members hit their summit this year. Pictures will feature you and your summit. Celebrate with fellow Toastmasters at Conference.
  • BANQUET HALL decorations will be out of this world! Enjoy the Northern Lights during the Friday night events and gaze at the moon and stars with us on Saturday night.
