DISTRICT 3 COMMUNICATION & LEADERSHIP AWARD

The highest honor the District can bestow on a non-Toastmaster
District 3 Toastmasters is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Communication & Leadership Award to be presented in-person at the Hall of Fame luncheon at Conference on May 21, 2022. This award recognizes individuals within our Arizona communities who have demonstrated outstanding communication and leadership skills. DISTINGUISHED CLUB PROGRAM (DCP)

Congratulations for achieving 5 or more DCP goals by December 31st!

Clubs that achieved 5 DCP Goals by December 31, 2021, are listed at: https://aztoastmasters.org/5-dcp-before-12-31.

If your club’s achievement was not recorded on the Dashboard by the time of this publication, the list will be updated by the February newsletter. Clubs that have achieved 5 DCP goals will be receiving two (2) coupons towards a full conference package, enabling two club members to purchase a full conference package at a discounted price.

Rise Up to Member Promise

Every new member you sponsor by June 1, 2022 will receive a new member pin! Send the new member application with the sponsor field filled in to CGD@aztoastmasters.org.

Bonus drawing for sponsoring a new member* January 1 to June 1, 2022
In addition to the pin for the new member, sponsoring members will be entered into a drawing and ten (10) sponsors will be drawn to select a prize package of their choice from the Member Incentives list for about $25 https://aztoastmasters.org/wp-content/uploads/Member-Incentives-2021-2022.pdf.

DISTRICT 3 SPEAKERS BUREAU

Are you considering becoming a public or professional speaker, and don’t know where to start? The District 3 Speakers Bureau may be just the place for you. Many District 3 Speakers Bureau members are experienced public speakers eager to inform or entertain audiences. They are also Toastmasters looking to become an experienced or professional speaker. Arizona Toastmasters Speakers Bureau members have presented at outside organization events, and members of the Speakers Bureau will be offered speaking opportunities with District 3.

The Speakers Bureau meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday every month via Zoom. No fees to join. You just need to apply and audition. Attend as a guest and check us out. For more information, go to the District 3 Speakers Bureau webpage.
