These announcements are especially for our club officers as we begin the second half of the 2021-2022 Toastmasters year. Remember: For your club to receive full credit for Distinguished Club Performance (DCP) Goal #9 – Training, at least four (4) officers must attend both Summer TLI and Winter TLI. Club members holding multiple officer roles may receive credit for each office.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT & JOB FAIR – January 28, 2022, from 9 am to 5 pm

It’s a new year, are you setting personal goals or career goals for 2022?

2021-2022 SPEECH CONTEST SEASON TABLE TOPICS and INTERNATIONAL

Make sure to hold your club contest in time to participate in your Area contest. Go to the District 3 website https://aztoastmasters.org/contest/ for contest dates and resources.

Club contests may be conducted using virtual, in-person, or hybrid formats.
All Area, Division and District speech contests will be VIRTUAL this year.

All members are eligible to participate in the Table Topics contest this year based on paid membership and club good standing. Make sure to read through the Speech Contest Rulebook for the International speech Contest eligibility requirements.

IMPORTANT: Please review the 2021-2022 Speech Contest Rulebook for complete eligibility and contest participation requirements. Black diamonds in the margins of the rulebook indicate changes in this year’s contest requirements.

DISTRICT 3 COMMUNICATION & LEADERSHIP AWARD

The highest honor the District can bestow on a non-Toastmaster

District 3 Toastmasters is now accepting nominations for the 2022 Communication & Leadership Award, to be presented in-person at the Hall of Fame luncheon at Conference on May 21, 2022. This award recognizes individuals within our Arizona communities who have demonstrated outstanding communication and leadership skills. This award is an opportunity for a club to recognize one of its members who has gone above and beyond in serving the club. Your club can honor a member’s service by selecting them to be your club’s Outstanding Club Member of the Year 2021-2022. Each year Outstanding Club Members are recognized at Conference with a pin.
