District 3 March Announcements for Club Officers

Greetings club officers and welcome to March 2022! This is a great time to focus on goal achievement. This District 3 February message is especially for our club officers. We hope these announcements provided will help you and your clubs achieve your goals for a successful year.

STAY IN GOOD STANDING

Semi-annual dues by March 31, 2022

Submit dues payments on-time. For credit or debit card payments, go to Club Central, click on Submit Payment and follow the prompts. $45.00 for April 1 through September 30 goes directly to Toastmasters International. Club dues are separate and are typically collected by the Treasurer for the club bank account.

Club in Good Standing. While the club goal is to grow membership to meet or exceed the Distinguished Club Performance membership requirement, it is important to ensure that your club is renewed on-time to remain in ‘Good Standing’ by meeting the club renewal requirement with a minimum of eight members (at least three must be renewing members) by March 31, 2022. Members in Good Standing. Members competing in contests must remain in ‘Good Standing’ through each level of speech contest competition. Additionally, member’s renewal payment must be received by WHQ by March 31, 2022 to maintain access to Base Camp.

  • Clubs that have 75% of members renewed by March 10, 2022 will be eligible for a $50 gift pack.
  • Clubs that have 100% of members renewed by March 17, 2022 will be eligible for a $100 gift pack.

TALK UP TOASTMASTERS:

February 1 to March 31, 2022
A Toastmasters International membership building program for all clubs. Add five (5) new, dual, or reinstated members between February 1 and March 31 and receive a Talk Up Toastmasters ribbon.

Rise Up to Club Events

This is the perfect time to hold club events and grow your membership. Clubs meeting weekly, you still have time to hold 6 events. The first 20 clubs that submit their events may be eligible for a Toastmasters gift pack worth about $100. https://aztoastmasters.org/district-info/incentives/#events

Outstanding Club Member Award

Recognize a member who has gone above and beyond!
Honor a member’s service by selecting them to be your club’s Outstanding Club Member of the Year 2021-2022. Each year Outstanding Club Members are recognized at Conference with a pin.
