Would you enjoy being creative and designing fun messaging to share with members and potential new members on social media? Do you have experience drafting media releases? Do you have an eye for detail? If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Public Relations team is looking for you!
We Need You
The 2022-2023 Public Relations team is looking for Toastmasters who would like to serve on the social media or media release committees within District 3. As a social media committee member, you would help to create the content for various social media platforms to engage our existing members and help attract new members while also ensuring we follow brand guidelines for Toastmasters. You can support the media release committee by drafting press release messages the district sends to various media outlets throughout Arizona. Press releases help spread the word about the benefits of Toastmasters membership and promote our district activities.
About Tami
Your 2022-2023 Public Relations Manager (PRM) is Tami Wedll, Pathways Level 5. Tami has been an active member of District 3 Toastmasters since September 2018 with corporate and community clubs. She has previously served in club officer roles, including President, helping the club to earn Distinguished or higher DCP recognition. Within the District, Tami has served as an Area Director and Assistant Division Director. She has served as Club Dues Chair, Club Coach, Conference Banquet Chair and Decorations Chair. Tami is also a member of various committees, and has facilitated TLI sessions. Tami firmly believes in paying things forward and hopes to inspire others to build their leadership skills through mentoring and stepping up into leadership roles within the district. She is working towards earning her DTM in July of 2022.
