Club Growth Committees

The Club Growth Committees are responsible for all aspects of marketing, club-building, and club-retention efforts within the District. This includes defining an overall marketing strategy for the District, developing outreach and club and member retention efforts with existing community and corporate clubs, and penetrating new markets. Additionally, the Club Growth Committees support challenged clubs and help them to become Distinguished.

Club Coach Committee

The Club Coach Committee plays a crucial role in supporting struggling clubs. They identify clubs that qualify for coaching and recruit members to serve as club coaches. These coaches then work closely with the struggling clubs, helping them recruit new members and supporting existing members in achieving their goals. It’s a collaborative effort to strengthen and revitalize clubs within the Toastmasters community!

All candidates for the Distinguished Toastmasters (DTM) Award are required to successfully serve in the following roles:

Club Extension Committee

The Club Extension Committee plays a crucial role in expanding the reach and impact of the organization by helping potential clubs become chartered. Their responsibilities include communication with potential club contacts, coordination and facilitation of demo meetings, and assistance with paperwork.

Overall, the Club Extension Committee plays a supportive and guiding role in the process of establishing new clubs, helping them navigate the path from initial interest to full charter status within the organization.

Club Retention Committee

The Retention Committee is tasked with ensuring the continued engagement and participation of existing members and clubs in District 3 Toastmasters. Their responsibilities typically include: creating and promoting membership incentive programs and communication with clubs regarding membership renewals. 

By creating, promoting, and tracking membership incentive programs, as well as maintaining communication with clubs regarding membership renewals, the Retention Committee plays a vital role in fostering member satisfaction and ensuring the long-term growth and stability of District 3 Toastmasters.

Corporate Club Liaison

The Corporate Club Liaison is instrumental in supporting and nurturing the growth and development of corporate clubs within  District 3. Here’s how they typically fulfill their responsibilities:  support Corporate Clubs, communicate with current Corporate Clubs, provide recommendations to recruit new members and support members as they achieve their goals.

By providing ongoing support, communication, and recommendations to corporate clubs, the Corporate Club Liaison plays a vital role in fostering a thriving and engaged community of Toastmasters within corporate environments. Their efforts contribute to the success and sustainability of corporate clubs and help members maximize their potential for growth and development.

New Club Support Committee

The New Club Support Committee plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful establishment and growth of new Toastmasters clubs. 

By providing support, training, and assistance to sponsors, mentors, and new clubs, the New Club Support Committee plays a vital role in facilitating the growth and success of the Toastmasters community. Their efforts contribute to the establishment of vibrant, thriving clubs that empower members to achieve their communication and leadership goals.

New Member Support Committee

The New Member Support Committee plays a pivotal role in ensuring that new members joining Toastmasters receive comprehensive training and support to kickstart their journey effectively. 

Overall, the New Member Support Committee plays a vital role in welcoming and empowering new members to embark on their Toastmasters journey with confidence and enthusiasm. Through comprehensive training and support, they help new members integrate into the Toastmasters community, develop their communication and leadership skills, and achieve their personal and professional goals.

Recruitment Committee

Overall, the Toastmasters Recruitment Committee plays a proactive role in expanding the organization’s reach and impact by actively seeking out opportunities to engage with the community, promoting Toastmasters, attracting new prospects, and facilitating their integration into clubs. Through their efforts, they contribute to the growth and diversity of Toastmasters membership and empower individuals to achieve their personal and professional development goals.

Youth Leadership & Speechcraft Committee

The Youth Leadership and Speechcraft Committee will coordinate with all clubs in supporting Youth Leadership Programs and Speechcraft activities within Toastmasters Clubs and in the community.  

The Youth Leadership Program is an 8-week workshop for young people between the ages of 4-18 to develop their communication and leadership skills. 

Speechcraft is a 4-8 week program to help prospective and new Toastmasters get a taste of public speaking through a condensed version of a Toastmasters member experience which aims to inspire them to continue their Toastmasters journey.  

The Committee will assist and guide you in planning for your activity. Contact the Committee for new opportunities to provide these worthwhile programs to your Toastmaster prospects and any group in the community that is as passionate as we are about being excellent communicators and leaders.
