Dear Toastmasters of District 3,

We are well on our way to having a successful year, growing and learning together with our fellow club members. We have some important announcements and reminders to share with you from our district leadership team.

We will be electing International Directors/Officers and vote on proposals during the business meeting at the annual convention. If you plan to attend and vote, then please do so. If you do not plan to attend, or do plan to attend but do not know enough about the candidates or proposals, then please make sure you assign your proxies to the District Director or another Toastmaster that has reviewed the candidates and proposals no later than August 15th. Please note only the club President or club Secretary can vote or assign proxies for the club. Need a refresher on how to assign proxies? Watch this video:

We are leaving Mailchimp and transitioning to a new email newsletter platform: AWeber. This change will not only save the district a lot of money, but will also help us promote our programs and events to our members AND promote the benefits of Toastmasters outside the organization. We are also moving the online newsletter the Roadrunner to the new platform at the same time. This is our chance to give back to members and clubs and help the entire district stay connected.

You will receive an email invitation to subscribe to the new and improved district newsletters. If you wish to continue receiving district announcements and the Roadrunner, you need to be sure to OPT-IN to subscribe. If you do not OPT-IN to subscribe, you WILL NOT receive any announcements for district events, training, business meetings, or newsletters.

Thank you for your support and participation in making our district a family of Toastmasters. If you are interested in contributing content (articles, photos, or announcements) to the Roadrunner, email or
