This year’s District 3 Toastmasters Conference is all about recognizing and appreciating your accomplishments during this Toastmasters year. Harrah’s Ak-Chin Resort is the perfect place for this two-day conference. Connect with members and friends you haven’t seen in a while or have met only on Zoom. Share experiences with fellow Toastmasters and celebrate members’ achievements. Get to know this year’s District Leaders Trio better: David Hopper, District Director; Karen Hewitt, Program Quality Director; and DJ Reed, Club Growth Director.
The “Rise Up – Celebrate Your Summit!” conference will be filled with activities designed to recognize and celebrate the educational and leadership summits achieved by our members. A special celebration parade will be held for the newest Distinguished Toastmasters who have reached their DTM summit. There will be personal and professional development education sessions and a Hall of Fame recognition of your education awards.
You will have opportunities to witness two District level virtual speech contests. The District Table Topics Contest will be held Friday night. The District level International Speech Contest will be held Saturday night to determine who will represent District 3 on the road to the World Championship of Public Speaking.
