Club Officer News – November 2024

November: A Key Month for Progress and Achievement! 🌟

District 3 Club Officers,

As the year continues to fly by, now is a critical time to keep our momentum strong and ensure we are on track to achieve our goals. With the halfway point of the Toastmasters year just around the corner, now is the time to focus on making progress and tackling those to-dos.
Here are a few ways you can lead your clubs to success this month:
  • 1️⃣ Review Club Goals: Take a look at your Club Success Plan. Are you on track to meet Distinguished Club Program (DCP) goals? If not, identify where extra effort is needed and rally your members to help achieve them.
  • 2️⃣ Encourage Education Goals: Remind members to submit their completed Pathways projects. Celebrate those milestones and inspire others to stay on track with their educational goals.
  • 3️⃣ Membership Matters: Start planning membership drives and outreach for the new year. Retention and recruitment efforts now will set your club up for a strong second half.
  • 4️⃣ Plan Ahead: Begin organizing upcoming events, contests, and officer elections. Preparing early will reduce stress and help everything run smoothly.
  • 5️⃣Check-in with Your Team: Support your fellow officers by sharing best practices and challenges. Together, we can overcome obstacles and celebrate achievements!
Now is a time to be proactive, focused, and inspiring. Let’s make the most of it and keep moving forward toward a successful Toastmasters year.

If you need any assistance or have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Area or Division Director. https://aztoastmasters.org/district-leaders/division-and-area-directors/

Thank you for your leadership and commitment to excellence. Let’s finish 2024 strong and position ourselves for an outstanding 2025!

Yours in service,
District 3 Toastmasters

Boost Your Club’s Membership with New Tools!

Did you know only 9% of people who reach out through

Find a Club (FAC) ultimately join?

A major reason is that 74% of prospective members never visit a club because they don’t receive a response. By responding to every inquiry, your club can turn interested individuals into enthusiastic members!
Exciting news: Club Central now has two new features to help clubs manage prospective members more effectively and streamline the joining process:
  • Prospective Member Management Page: Easily track FAC inquiries, assign follow-ups to club officers, and ensure no prospective member is missed.
  • Online Member Application: Send membership applications directly, and for Self-Pay clubs, new members can pay dues immediately after submitting their application.
These tools make it easier than ever to grow your club and welcome new members into the Toastmasters community!
