Club Growth Committee

The Club Growth Director, Assistant Club Growth Director, and the subcommittees work together to build new clubs and to support existing members and clubs within District 3.

The CGD makes the benefits of Toastmasters membership available to a wide audience. Developing marketing strategies for membership growth in our existing clubs is key. Chartering new corporate and community clubs is another priority, harnessing the strengths and abilities of a well-rounded team effort.

Club Extension

I have been a Toastmaster since October of 2014. I can’t tell you in this short bio all the things that Toastmasters has done for me. Not only have I become a better communicator and leader I have met life-long friends that have helped me out in every aspect of my life. I was an Area Director in El Paso, Texas for a year and a half and Division Director for Ironwood Division in Northern Arizona. I love taking on challenges so I have taken the role of Club Extension Chair to help grow clubs in Arizona.

Arizona Toastmasters Impact Education and Career Fair offers educational workshops for those seeking employment. Attendees can use the skills learned from the workshops to bypass their competition. The workshops focus on topics such as: communication skills, resume writing, interviewing in today’s virtual world, leadership skills, how to make yourself marketable, and much more. The workshop will provide attendees the knowledge and then the opportunity to meet with employers and interview all on the same day. Let’s get Arizonians back to work with the communication, leadership, and presentation skills employers are seeking, while putting some of those new competencies to work under one virtual roof.

Club Coach Chair

Jennifer Sebastian DTM  born and raised in the Philippines.  She joined Toastmaster in 2013 for the simple reason of her wish to organize and be the master of ceremony for her daughter’s 18th birthday.  I was scared and  terrified of public speaking. I persisted, endured and accomplished my goals.

Currently I belong to three different clubs.  I was a former club coach for two clubs which helped them to increase their membership. On another front, I am progressing as a very successful apartment investor.  These things will not happen without the knowledge and experience I learned as a coach. It gave me the tools to be successful in my career.

The club coach chair is responsible for identifying struggling clubs qualifying for a coach and recruiting members to serve as a club coach.  To earn a DTM, every member must serve as a club coach, mentor, or sponsor.  For more information, please visit the SMaC information page or the Club Coach page.  If you have any questions regarding this program, please reach out to Jennifer.
