BUILDING ON ACHIEVEMENT: MOMENTS OF TRUTH

Target Audience: All Officers
First Impressions Last!  Is every new and/or prospective member’s initial interaction (i.e. Moments of Truth) a positive one? The Moments of Truth is your guide to delivering quality service and outstanding member experiences. A high-quality club encourages and celebrates member achievement, provides a supportive and fun environment, and offers a professionally organized meeting with variety. When clubs successfully exemplify the Moments of Truth, members are ensured a safe, supportive environment in which to achieve their goals. 

BUILDING MEMBERSHIP: Overcoming Challenges to Achieving DCP

Target Audience: VPM/VPPR/SAA/Sec
Don't procrastinate and save yourself stress and frustration by meeting all 3 out of 10 Distinguished Club Program goals that revolve around  membership by June 1st.  Learn The Who, What, When, and Why of your club membership programming -  inspect what's expected from guests, members, and leaders.

VALUES AND LEADERSHIP

Successful leaders recognize the importance of understanding their own values as well as those of their team.    It is important that leaders know how these values influence decisions and behavior. Leadership is essential to the   success of any organization or effort. What is leadership and how can we become better leaders?

COACHING YOUR CLUB FROM WITHIN: The Leader as a Coach

Target Audience: Pres/VPE/Treas/SAA
Have you ever been coached through giving a speech, winning a game, or landing a job?  Don't let your club struggle to the point of needing a Club Coach to help get your club back on its feet.  Working together as a team to coach members from within your club allows club leadership to empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders.  Join us in this session to learn how each one of us, as Toastmasters, can coach our clubs to SUCCESS - from WITHIN!

CLOSED CLUB SUCCESS:

Target Audience: Closed Club Officers & Coaches
Are you a member of a club that has membership restrictions?  That makes yours a “closed club” which brings both unique opportunities and challenges.  Plan to attend this session to ask questions related to marketing and managing closed clubs.  

BUILDING THINKING POWER #2: THE POWER OF IDEAS

Target Audience: Intermediate/Advanced
Building Thinking Power part 2, The Power of Ideas is an interactive and thought-provoking experience to "stimulate thinking processes, remind ourselves of our own potential as a creative thinker and problem solver, and practice creative thinking skills."  Participation in the Building Thinking Power part 1 is not required for this session.

DOING THE HARD THINGS AS A LEADER: INTEGRITY & CORE VALUES

Target Audience: All officers
Sometimes club leaders are confronted with situations where they need to make a tough decision.   Learn how Toastmasters Core Values can aid in ensuring that you and your members are making the right decisions.  Be prepared with some tools when that challenge arises.

MEETING ETIQUETTE & PROCEDURES

Target Audience: All officers
Have you ever been stuck behind a SLOW driver in the high speed lane on the freeway or drudged through your toastmasters business meeting and just felt like you weren't moving anywhere?  This session will give you the basics of proper meeting procedure that will help you have more effective, improved business meetings to keep things MOVING!  We'll answer the questions: What is a motion?  How do you process a motion?  What kinds of motions are there?   Don't get stuck in a slow moving business meeting ever again!

DIVERSITY: BECOMING CULTURALLY INTELLIGENT

Target Audience: All Officers
Do you have the confidence, drive, and adaptability to inspire and promote an understanding of diversity within your club?  Do you even know what constitutes diversity?  Is it skin color?  Ethnicity?  What about gender identity or physical disability - are those types of diversity that we need to be aware of?  Attend this session and learn about how we can become more culturally intelligent in our clubs.

TECHNOLOGICAL RESOURCES FOR CLUB    OFFICERS

Target Audience: All Officers (Intermediate)
EVERY officer should know how to step in and help out, whether it’s updating an officer list or submitting a membership application.  Toastmasters.org Club Central is the central hub for all your club business.  Come join us for an overview of Club Central functionalities—there will be something for EVERY officer.   Bring your smart phone or iPad/Tablet with wi-fi hot spot that you can access via your network provider and follow along on your device.
