Honoring Our VeteransArizona Toastmasters Honor Veterans
Sunday, November 11, 2012
Tucson, Arizona

This morning, 200 Arizona Toastmasters honored veterans and their families with a POW-MIA ceremony performed by Technical Sergeant Kodi Bailey, 31, who serves as a cyber defense operator for the US Air Force. Bailey is president of the Fire Mouth Toastmasters club at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The ceremony featured a single place setting at a table draped in white, with an empty glass, single rose and salt, among other items, symbolizing the sacrifice of both soldiers and loved ones.

After the ceremony, Bailey spoke on "Leadership in the Digital Age."

Attendees from across the state met in Tucson for their annual fall conference Nov 9-11 at the Holiday Inn Tucson Airport North.
